Turn postcodes into local insight, without sending postcodes anywhere

Paste a list of UK postcodes and generate a shareable dashboard link. Postcodes are resolved locally in your browser into anonymised area codes (LSOAs). The dashboard then uses those LSOAs to show area-level context, including IMD 2025 (overall and domain deciles) and UK Census 2021 area statistics.

Designed for charities and organisations that need insight but must minimise exposure of identifiable location data.

What stays private

Your postcodes never leave your browser.

What gets shared

Only LSOA codes are used to create an expiring results link.

What you get

Charts showing deprivation and local demographic context (UK Census 2021) for the areas you reach, plus CSV export for reporting.

Tip: you can paste hundreds of postcodes. The tool will automatically de-duplicate and ignore blanks.

How it works

  1. 1
Local lookupPostcodes are matched to LSOAs in your browser using cached chunk files (IndexedDB).
  2. 2
Minimal dataOnly LSOA codes are sent to the server to generate a results link. No raw postcodes are transmitted.
  3. 3
Dashboard + exportThe dashboard enriches those LSOAs with IMD 2025 and UK Census 2021 area statistics, with CSV export available.
  4. 4
Expiring linkYour results link expires automatically after a set time, reducing long-term data risk.
What the charts mean
The dashboard aggregates your list of postcodes to local areas (LSOAs) and then enriches those areas with public data. That means you’re seeing area profiles (for example age structure, sex split, disability indicators, and deprivation deciles), not information about specific people or households.
If any postcodes are missing from the local lookup, they are skipped and reported before you’re redirected.
