Brain Darts — Privacy Policy

Brain Darts is a party game. We have tried to collect as little as possible. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information.

What we collect

Nothing that identifies you. Brain Darts does not have accounts, does not ask for your name beyond the player labels you type for a game, and does not track you across apps or websites. Player names you enter are held only in memory for the current match and are never transmitted or stored after the app closes.

Information sent off the device

Some game categories look up real-world figures. When you use them, the place name or topic you type is sent to third-party data services purely to fetch a number:

• Distance is resolved on your device using Apple's geocoding. The place names may be sent to Apple as part of that lookup, under Apple's own privacy terms.
• Population, Height and Wikipedia pageviews send the place or topic you type to Open-Meteo and the Wikimedia Foundation to retrieve the figure. No identifier is attached.
• Tennis and UK number ones are answered entirely on your device from built-in data, with no network request.

We do not send your location, contacts, device identifiers, or any personal data with these requests.

Purchases

The optional category unlock is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple processes the transaction under Apple's privacy policy.

Analytics and advertising

Brain Darts contains no third-party analytics and no advertising.

Children

The app is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.
